Maybe I don't say it enough to them, but I am saying it now. Dear everyone This is a good condensed talk I gave on Guru Yoga of Tsongkapa. This is the one you should share with others when they are interested in a not too lengthy explanation. It is the perfect practice for everyone who wants simplicity yet effective blessings. You can share this with more people, it will be good. We patronize them for their incompleteness, for their tragic fate of having taken form so far below ourselves.

And therein we err, and greatly err.

For the animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complex than ours they moved finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren, they are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendour and travail of the earth.

It is proved by experience. And furthermore, it gives one the opportunity to be born in the pure realm of Lama Tsongkhapa, Tushita, whenever death happens. It was the best time of my life.

A time that seems so magical and surreal to me. But Dharma should not be just feel good only for the moment but for deeper contemplations. That is the nature of samsara. So let us suffer for others and then suffering has meaning. Working for Dharma is not a prison or work, but it is purely spiritual practice. It is purely collection of merit and purification. Actually not doing dharma work is the real prison.

He stated that a happy, luxurious life was like a good dream, and that obstacles and difficulties were like a bad dream. We should give them no significance, but simply carry on working towards real, everlasting happiness. To walk away from that was actually very easy. I didn't even consider it. Together we make diversity so beautiful. I find it funny and entertaining now. I guess we can't spend our lives fighting rumours No point explaining repeatedly.

Patience comes from respect while laziness from disrespect of others. The more we get, the more we have, the more unhappy we become. When the experience we encounter contradicts our views, then the pain arises. The pain arises due to our fixed views not so much the experience itself. So the secret is changing the views. Re-educating ourselves on our views. I wasn't really good at following the rules. Even now with how I share Dharma and my practice, I just do it the way I think it should be done but I do it sincerely. Not what others tell me what I can and can't do. If you love me, I'll always be in your heart If you hate me, I'll always be in your mind.

Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous or honest.

Everything Rinpoche did was for the long term benefit of others, and the equanimity he applied onto everyone including the animals impressed me tremendously.

If you think Rinpoche was very strict to His students, this is how he trained his mumus too. This is the guru who made me value the importance of Dharma. Thank you for the sharing , it has very informative information. It is necessary to take serious action to prevent environment and save earth, to reuse and recycle. We should correct our mistakes, selfishness towards our environment. Every single action taken is to maintain the originality of the environment, if for our betterment to make live healthy and safe from pollution.

Though government has formulated various schemes and established laws to prevent and to save the nature environment. Yet it should be still the duty of each individually to protect it for our future generations, as we are the people consuming its benefits. It is hard to believe but true that only a little positive movements by everyone may bring a huge change in the declining environment. Glad to read about the inventors ideas to protect the nature and help to save our environment.

A good article to be shared with family and friends. A frightened panda in Japan seeking solace after the horrible quake from a man…all beings suffer the same…brings tears to my eyes.. May all of them recover and the ones passed take a good rebirth…. Herra was charged with one count of misdemeanor animal cruelty. Shared by Tsem Rinpoche This depicts a Tibetan system with dealing with corpses. After prayers have been done by the Monks, the cemetery workers will slice up the body of the dead, mix it with barley flour and with prayers scatter it to the vultures.

It is the last act of giving for the person who has eaten flesh themselves their whole lives. It is not a good idea to attach so much to our bodies, but more to our minds. Our minds will leave the bodies and whether we bury, cremate or feed it to animals, we will have to leave it. We have left our bodies so many times in our previous lives and we have no memory of it and neither does anyone else. It is more for the living. But then the living quickly becomes the dead anyways and then everything is forgotten. So what is important, is to take care of the mind. Start now.

Whenever you feel like quitting, remember your mortality and all the karmas you have accumulated. So deal with yourselves now and overcome now. It is located in the North-Eastern central part of Beijing. It was built as the residence for his 4th son, Prince Yong Zheng. Pemako is located in southeast Tibet.

It is a land that intrigues many Western explorers as it is thought to be the sacred land of nectar and bliss as described in Buddhist scriptures. Pemako is thought to be one of the 16 earthly paradises, a promised land where humanity will survive in the event of worldwide famine or calamities. Shambala is the greatest hidden valley, Pemako is another one of them. The Buddhist texts describe these hidden valleys as being reminiscent of paradise.

They can only be reached with enormous hardship, and those who force their way through may encounter failure or even, death. Yee Yin Tuesday, Nov This is such a heart-warming story, to go the extra mile for an animal that cannot even say thank you. As a good human being, we have to be kind and generous to not just our kind but to animals as well.

We should be even kinder to animals because they are the weaker ones. Human beings take away their habitats but all they can do is to try to find another place to live in. They have no one to complain to, there is no justice for them. The least we can do is not to harm them and help them whenever we can. Samfoonheei Tuesday, Nov Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this worthy thoughts. The truth is, if we want to forget something , we need to let go, forgive ourselves, forgive the situation, and realize that the situation is over to move forward in life.

Letting go can be one of the most difficult things we can do in our life. If we do not let go we cannot move on, we got to create space to for a new beginning and meaningful life. He wanted to achieve the highest meditative realisations till his last breath of his life. Well , this is an example for us not to give up whatever matters how hard the situation is.

He practised diligently with the aid of a stick to hold up his chin and a meditation-strap to keep his legs crossed. His determination pays off, he gained realization and attained the rainbow body. Regardless of how old we are and how difficult it is to practise the Dharma is the right choice. Courage and practice is the most important of all the virtues in spite of all obstacles. With determination, it helps get us through tough situations in life. An inspiring story…. Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing and the profound teachings.
